- low SiO2 content < 0,1%,
- MgO excess, remaining free Al2O3 is also in the sintering process converted to spinel
- manufacture in the ceramic slip casting process, which means
o great variety of shapes
o cost-effective to produce even in smaller quantities
o fast realization
Fields of application include combustion capsule, tubes crucibles, which are in use of a high exposure to aggressive elements such as sodium and lead, as well as their compounds.
