Your main task is to produce models and forms for ceramic articles which are manufactured as a batch production. Mostly you get technical drawings of designers or customers but sometimes you have to construct a draft on your own.
You use gypsum for the manufacture of the forms and models, which you have to mash with water and binding agents. To make sure that the model fits the requirements you form, turn and cut the component. Based on this model you make up the form. At last you dry and store the models and forms professionally and check the quality, the dimensional accuracy of the models and the operational capability of the forms.
